Bathroom Inspiration

The sun is shining and it’s that time of year when we feel the need for change. It’s a perfect time to consider a brand new bathroom! If you’ve not yet had the chance to browse through our gallery, why not have a look now. It’s full of breathtaking photographs of recent projects which will give you some inspirational ideas for your home. In this article we look more closely at some ideas for a main bathroom, and over the next couple of weeks will also then look at en-suites and cloakrooms.

Project Six

This project was carried out on a limited budget, even though it involved extensive building work. It serves to illustrate the point that a designer bathroom is a real possibility for everyone. Come and have a browse round our Camberley showroom and we’d be delighted to discuss your requirements in more detail and help turn your dreams into a reality!

The interior decor of the bathroom was finished in tumbled limestone which gave it an intriguing combination of traditional warmth with leading edge panache. This was enhanced with a Stone blue paint from Farrow and Ball. Clever design features such as recessed storage added depth and character to the room. But the piece de resistance from the client’s point of view was the wet floor, enabling a walk-in shower to take pride of place in the centre of the bathroom as an alternative to the equally delightful traditional free-standing bath beneath the window!

Silver Grey Limestone

The silver grey limestone finish of this bathroom is simply stunning! It is further enhanced by a feature wall of quartz decopanel, which adds the perfect designer finishing touch to this glorious room.

This perfect little bathroom features an inbuilt bath with limestone panelling and integrated filling system, and a wet floor shower – separated from the rest of the bathroom by a small stud wall. The whole effect is cosseting yet luxurious. Minimalist chic at its finest!

Project One

Another bathroom to be proud of! This bathroom originally used to be a bedroom! Even though the room was an awkward shape, some clever planning from our in-house designer Rachel somehow enabled the large bath and shower to fit in! The bath is a work of art in itself. Produced by Villeroy and Boch, it is a high quality product and also very weighty . . . . the latter proved rather a challenge and we had to build sub floor supports to take the weight. The calibre of this amazing bath is ably matched by the walk-in shower with wet floor, providing a delightful choice of indulgent bathroom experiences. This gorgeous bathroom has a truly magical feel. The recessed wall sections add to the illusion of nooks and crannies, whilst the ethereal ambience of the room is further enhanced by light radiating through a traditional wooden-framed window. Delightfully simple yet simply delightful.
