Handmade Kitchen Process

Initial consultation

Your kitchen is designed with you in mind. We’ll want to know all the little details that enable us to get to know you and design you the best kitchen. From there we will begin designing your kitchen on our 3D design software. We’ll invite you into the showroom so you can see the design on our large TV in our design hub.

It often takes more than one meeting to get a finalised kitchen design. At this point we submit it to the workshop who create the line drawings. These are more detailed designs that have have all the information on internals, drawer inserts, beading options, colours etc.

Building your kitchen

Your kitchen is constructed by hand here in the UK at our workshop. We go on about it a lot, but we’re really proud to say that our carcasses are made from hardwood ply and our doors, frames and mouldings from accoya and tulip wood. This makes our kitchens incredibly strong compared to MFC alternatives.

Our workshop has its own spray booth. We spray your kitchen and then apply a final coat with a brush by hand. This gives it that authentic appeal.

Kitchen installation

An average kitchen takes between 5-7 days to install. Once the cabinetry is fitted we can instruct the worktops to be templated. It takes around 7 days from templating to installation for stone worktops. If you opt for timber worktops these are installed in a day.

We’ll then handover the kitchen (and a bottle of bubbly!) and run through everything with you.

We’ll also have a tree planted on your behalf. It’s our little way of giving back. We’re big on sustainability!
